Thank you to those who have sent messages about yesterday's service on healing. I always find it very moving when we pray for healing for one another - thank you for being willing to remain in worship and maintain that atmosphere of prayer as we prayed for many yesterday. If you have any testimonies from yesterday, then we'd love to hear from you - just reply to this email. And if you want to catch up on the service then just click on the following link:

UKRAINE:

We also mentioned yesterday that the Church of the Nazarene is developing a network across Europe for Nazarene refugees coming out of Ukraine. Many of you have asked about this in relation to the Government's sponsorship scheme for providing accommodation in your home for refugees. Ruth Lloyd from our Parkhead Church is helping to coordinate things from the UK side, and so here is the information you need to get involved:

"Many of you will have been looking for ways for your local church to respond to the current Ukrainian refugee crisis. The Church of the Nazarene in the UK are looking to connect Ukrainian Nazarenes with host families here in the UK. If you are interested in being involved in helping Nazarenes from the Ukraine seek refuge in the UK, please get in touch on nazukrainetouk@gmail.com

There is also a helpful article on things to consider before signing up to host a refugee: https://cityofsanctuary.org/2022/03/17/things-to-consider-before-applying-to-sponsor/

Donations can also be made via www.ncm.org/Ukraine or through the District NMI (Nazarene Missions International) Bank Account; Account No: 00176228 Sort Code: 80-13-53 - just mark your donation as ‘Ukraine NCM fund’.

There will hopefully be more information in the coming days, but if I can help with any queries please get in touch on ruthlloyd87@hotmail.co.uk."

Ruth also sent the attached flyers for us to share, which have contact details.

In time we will try to connect those involved in the scheme at Trinity with one another for encouragement, learning and support. In the meantime, we continue to pray for Peace and Justice in Ukraine.

With this in mind, please remember that there is another Prayer Vigil at Perth Baptist Church this evening (Monday 21st March) at 7pm.

Thank you for continuing to pray.

Grace & Peace

Ian
