Dear Church Family,

As many of our children and young people return to school this morning, and as teachers and staff welcome them back, let me encourage you to "Pray through the Day" for them, and for parents. This can be an emotional day, an exciting day, a thankful day, and for some an anxious day. Let's pray for God's peace, presence and grace to cover children, parents and staff alike. And while we can pray generally for all, lets also pray specifically for those we know and those in our Church Family.

I've attached some prayers that might help as you pray today, but let me leave you with Psalm 139:1-6...

You have searched me, Lord,
    and you know me.

You know when I sit and when I rise;
    you perceive my thoughts from afar.

You discern my going out and my lying down;
    you are familiar with all my ways.

Before a word is on my tongue
    you, Lord, know it completely.

You hem me in behind and before,
    and you lay your hand upon me.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.
