Dear Church Family,

This is just a short reminder of the event that we are hosting tomorrow evening (Wednesday 24 May) for those who attend Trinity. The beginnings of this conversation are focused around our local church family as we seek to listen and learn in love. Tomorrow evening is not a debate, but a beginning; it is not a stand alone event, but the first of others; it will not cover everything, but it will cover some key things.

We will start at 7.30pm and we aim to finish at 9pm. It will be held in the new building.

Trinity Youth has been cancelled for tomorrow evening to enable young people to attend, but we do ask that parents reflect on whether this is appropriate or not for the age and stage of maturity for their son or daughter.

As Trinity is part of the International Church of the Nazarene, we do already have a denominational statement on Human Sexuality, which can be found here: Human Sexuality and Marriage MANUAL 20172021 (nazarene.org)

Praying is always a good place to start, and finish, and indeed everything in between, and so take time to pray for yourself, for one another, and for us as a Church family. Perhaps Philippians 1:9-11 is a good place to start...

"And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ  to the glory and praise of God."

Grace & Peace
