What a great time of worship we had yesterday morning and an amazing time with the Trinity Junior kids as they shared what they've been learning over summer. Thanks to Hannah, Kirsten, Mark and Sarah, and to ALL the children who took part. And while we're at it, thanks to all the Trinity Juniors, Trinity Creche and Trinity Kids Teams for all their work with the children on Sunday mornings. We are blessed!

We don't have a recording of the kids from yesterday, but if you missed the service then you can catch up with the sermon by just clicking on the link below:

Let me also remind you of the Listening Skills Course this Saturday 27 August, 9am-12pm, at the Church with Geoff and Tricia Williams. There are still places available. Geoff and Tricia will be leading and sharing from their experience in pastoral, chaplaincy and counselling ministries. If you're in any kind of ministry at Trinity (or would like to be) then we really want to encourage you to attend - however the course is designed for everyone at Trinity and so why not invest in developing this specific life and ministry skill. The course is free, but you do need to sign up and so please register either by sending a reply to this email or by clicking on the following link:

Thanks all - hope to see you Saturday!

And finally just a reminder about Prayer in the Church. Every Friday morning we gather online at 7.30am for anyone who wants to come and pray, and hear a short word of encouragement. We also will be hosting our monthly Encounter night on Wednesday 7th September from 7.30pm, worshipping and praying together as we seek God. These have been amazing times and we encourage you to join with us. And of course most of our prayer life happens in life groups and home groups, and so thank you to all of those group leaders and hosts who make those times possible. We'll share more about Life Groups in due course, but if you have any prayer requests then please let us know.

In the meantime, let's continue to pray for Charlene & Hazel as they meet with consultants for updates on their surgery and treatment, and also for Nancy More and Billy Trainer following their accidents and surgery.

Thank you Church! And remember John 20:21...

"Jesus said, Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you."

May the Lord empower you to live as His "sent ones" through this week.

Grace and Peace
