MILNATHORT 4 mile CIRCULAR

Meeting Time and Place 10.45am 18th Jan 2020 – Burleigh Sands Car Park

How to get there – M90 to Kinross. Turn off at Junction 6 onto A922 (Station Road) to Kinross Town centre. Turn left at T Junction (High Street). Follow signs for Kinesswood and Lochleven Larder on the right. Parking at Lochleven Burleigh Sands Car Park.

A 4 mile circular walk offering local countryside views. Starting at the Burleigh Sands Car Park, this circuit follows a country trail path.The route takes you through countryside and varied woods, and is particularly renowned for its birdlife. There will be the oportunity for cafe stop in Kinross at the end of the walk.

Terrain: Paths; Can be muddy at this time of year. Bring with you: Suitable clothing and adequate footwear, liquid refreshment. Not suitable for buggies.

What an amazing turn out we had for our Christmas Extravaganza, we had Ben Jack delivering a special Christmas message and SoulBox from Manchester who sang several amazing and original compositions which got us all going, highly recommend them, great people, great sound and really contemporary.

Tonight (December 24th 2019) at 6.30pm we have Carols by Candlelight, Christmas Eve worship with carols, Christmas narration and Pastor Jim preaching the Christmas message, ‘Grace and Glory’ plus we have Dawn Elektra (Jim’s daughter) guesting, and we would love to see as many of you down here. Perth – you are welcome, come celebrate his birth with us!

Mince pies and refreshments served before service at 6pm. See you there.

Meeting Time and Place – 21ST SEPTEMBER 2019  10.45am – Kingswood House PH1 4HS Murthly

Take the B867 to Bankfoot, continue through Waterloo. Take a right when you see sign for Murthly Saw mill. Continue until you come to a left bend and you will see two stone pillars. Turn right through the pillars and the house is the last one on the right.

WALK

A 3 mile circular walk with a slight incline included and a well reward coffee and scone at the end

Paths; can be muddy in places especially this time of year.

WHERE

Kirkgate Park Lochleven – How to get there – M90 to Kinross. Turn off at Junction 6 onto A922/ B9189 (Station Road) to Kinross Town centre. Turn right onto B996 9High Street). Follow signs for Kirkgate Park on the left. Parking at the side of the Loch, near Toilets.

WALK

A 4 mile flat circular walk offering local Lochleven and local countryside views. Starting at the Kirkgate Car park. This level circuit follows a cycle path around part of the Loch Leven National Nature Reserve. The route takes you to several beautiful spots on the lochside and through varied woods, and is particularly renowned for its birdlife. There will be the oportunity for cafe stop at the Boathouse at the end of the walk.

TERRAIN

Paths are usually very good this time of year. Bring with you: Suitable clothing and adequate footwear, liquid refreshment. Suitable for all terrain buggies.
